OpenNHM (Open Natural Hazard Modeling) is an initiative that extends beyond avalanche simulation to encompass a comprehensive suite of natural hazard modeling tools. It provides a platform for natural hazard modeling tools, enabling researchers, practitioners, and institutions to collaborate on the development of new approaches and tools. Building on AvaFrame’s experience, OpenNHM aims to create an ecosystem for multi-hazard simulation and analysis.
